I'm a qualified librarian and teacher who worked for many years in
public libraries and primary schools in the north of England.
I've had seven children's books published by Transworld and Andersen Press (now part of Penguin Books.) I also write short stories for magazines in the UK and Australia, and have had about 60 published. I'm married with two grown-up children and live near Manchester, England.
The aim of this website is to help children find enjoyment in reading, by providing a child-friendly, advert-free "library" of online stories that young readers can easily explore.
